My Turbo Optima runner is the car that started all this madness. I bought this car from a friend when I was 15 or so. When this model came to me, a lot of things had been changed. Some were improvements, others were not. Among the good was a belt drive conversion that all chain drive Optima runners need. Now the bad, a horribly ill fitted truck body was the first thing to go. I went down to local hobby shop and bought a pre-painted buggy body. You can tell by the dated paint scheme. Optima Mid wheels, these will be great when I get a mid, but they wont be staying on this turbo. The radio tray had also been replaced with some sort of after market one. It's still on the car, I'll be replacing that when I get a chance.
I'm still looking for quite a few bits to bring this one back to it's former glory. The original body is one of the hardest to come by. As with all my runners, this one will look just like the box art. The only changes from the original will be the belt drive, ESC, and tires. The original Bridgstones will only be on this one when it's sitting still.
